The Club Badge

Liverpool Football Club logo consists of various integral elements.The 'Liver Bird' is an imaginary cross between a cormorant and an eagle. It was used as a seal after Liverpool had been granted city satus by King John.It became the traditional symbol of the city of Liverpool since then. The slogan "You'll Never Walk Alone" is the famous anthem of the Club.Above the slogan,there is an iron curlicues of the Snankly Gates.The flames are symbolic of the Hillsborough memorial.An eternal flame flickers in a special glass beside the Shankly gates in memory of those who lost their lives in the Hillsborough diaster.
